Training

  • Mr Sheikh Qualified from the University of Punjab in 2005 and undertook his residency in Internal Medicine and General surgery at the Mayo Hospital, Lahore.
  • He then completed his Foundation training in Diana Princess of Wales Hospital Grimsby and Hull Royal Infirmary.
  • He completed his Neurosurgical Training in Ninewells Hospital Dundee, Institute of Neurological Sciences Glasgow and Leeds General Infirmary. Mr Sheikh was awarded Norman Dott Medal in 2017 and obtained CCT in Neurological Surgery in 2018.
  • Mr Sheikh completed RCS England Anterior Skull base fellowship in Leeds and gained experience in Neurovascular surgery in Barrow Neurological Institute, Phoenix, AZ under Marjorie Newsome Fellowship.
